The documentary Sti voui tou kosmou: To feministiko kinima stin Ellada, 19os-21os aionas [In the Roar of the World: The Feminist Movement in Greece, 19th-21st Century] traces the history of the feminist movement in Greece from the 19th to the 21st century, highlighting the struggles, demands, and challenges of each period. Through interviews with researchers, activists, and historians, it sheds light on revolts, periods of movement decline, and contemporary feminist approaches. The documentary was produced in collaboration with the Diotima Centre and Eteron – Institute for Research and Social Change.
The documentary features the participation of Katerina Dalakoura, principal investigator of the FE.P.I.B. research program, and Dimitra Samiou, member of the program. In presenting the historical trajectory of the Greek feminist movement from the 19th to the 21st century, the two speakers discussed the actions of feminist organizations during the Interwar period in Greece, analyzing their characteristics and demands. The documentary also referenced the international dimension of Greek feminist organizations and their efforts to engage in regional and international diplomacy. Their participation in regional feminist and political organizations and initiatives, such as the Little Entente of Women and the Balkan Conferences, constitutes a significant part of the FE.P.I.B. research and was included in their contribution and analysis.
